LF/LB: What inspired you to pursue a career in construction industry?

IS: Our backgrounds and passion for construction led us to launch New Explode Construction (NEC) in 2006. After years of working in the industry, Sebastian had a strong desire to start his own business where he could create a strong company culture. With a commitment to crafting quality and fostering a supportive work culture for our team, we have dedicated ourselves to building more than just structures; we build lifelong relationships.

We believe that a happy, well-treated team delivers the best results. This principle is at the heart of everything we do. Our goal is to construct homes that our clients love and to develop a company that our employees are proud to be a part of, reinforcing our commitment to excellence and integrity in every project we undertake.

 

LF/LB: What is your vision or hope for the future of your business?

IS: Our vision for the future of New Explode Construction is to become a leader in sustainable and innovative construction, expanding our reach into new markets while maintaining our commitment to quality and client satisfaction. We love building houses that become homes for our wonderful clients, and we aim to build strong, long-term relationships with them. We are dedicated to fostering a work environment that encourages growth and excellence. Ultimately, our goal is to grow our business sustainably and responsibly, while making a positive impact in the community.

 

LF/LB: How does New Explode give back to the community? 

IS: At New Explode Construction, we are committed to giving back to the community in meaningful ways. We actively support our local public school and Montessori school in Lake Forest. Our involvement with the Romanian United Fund and the Romanian Community Center allows us to contribute to cultural and community initiatives that are close to our hearts. Additionally, we support organizations like Bernie's Books, Feed My Starving Children, and Fill a Heart 4 Kids, which work to improve the lives of children and families in need. Through these efforts, we strive to make a positive impact and give back to the communities that have supported us.
