Lake/Forest Lake Bluff Chamber:  Tell us about Britt Carter & Company, the services you offer and what makes your interior design business unique?

 Shaun Carter: At Britt Carter, you get the very best of both worlds.  You get 20,000 sq ft of the finest in-home furnishing and décor as well as experienced and knowledgeable designers to help put it all together.  We really are lovers of the product and love working with people to make your home your oasis.  Clients also really love us for the inspiration our showroom brings.  We set up curated vignettes that really show how things can look in a home. 

 

LF/LB: What inspired you to pursue a career in interior design?

SC:  I always enjoyed finer products and the creative aspect of how to put them all together to make a beautiful space.

 

LF/LB: What is your vision or hope for the future of Britt Carter & Company?

SC:  My vision for Britt Carter and Company is to continue to be a unique North Shore destination that is always there for the community.

 

LF/LB:  Britt Carter & Company and you specifically Shaun have been a great supporter of the Chamber and the community.  What drives your passion to give back?

SC:  Being part of the Chamber and really leaning into the community has been great to get a better feel for the community as well as meet more people and understand more perspectives.  As I’ve understood that more and more, I have wanted to pass that on to others, like it was to me. 

 

LF/LB: Is there anything else you would like to share about your business?
