The City of Lake Forest and the Lake Forest/Lake Bluff Chamber of Commerce are partnering again this holiday season to open the annual Think Local Pop-Up Shop to benefit local nonprofit organizations.
Moved to a new location in downtown Lake Forest at 270 Market Square, the Holiday Think Local Pop-Up Shop opens on Friday, November 29, the day of the Annual Tree Lighting Holiday Celebration in Market Square, and will be open for shopping Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 11 am to 4 pm through December. Â A special thank you to Market Square for their generosity and allowing us to use this location for this year's holiday pop-up shop!
The Pop-Up Shop theme is ‘Think Local,' spotlighting all things local. The shop adds to the holiday buzz in the downtown shopping district and supports twenty-one local nonprofits by providing a venue to raise their visibility and sell branded items. It's a terrific opportunity to find gifts that give back – simply purchase merchandise from one of the nonprofits represented and all sale proceeds will go directly to that organization. Nonprofits will also have volunteers on site on designated days to help spread awareness and information about their organizations.
We are delighted to welcome the following wonderful nonprofit partners this holiday season!
First Presbyterian Church of Lake Forest
Friends of Lake Forest Library
Friends of Lake Forest Parks & Recreation Foundation
Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association (GLASA)
