Lake Forest/Lake Bluff Chamber:  What was the inspiration behind your involvement in Elements Massage?
Suzanne Rossi: My role is as owner, and I handle the business strategy, marketing and the staff, and I have pretty active oversight. Before I owned Elements, I had an entrepreneurial bug for a long time. I had been at a big, corporate, global advertising agency for twenty-five years, which turned out to be really great background for running a business! I started looking into franchises outside of advertising, and I found Elements.

LFLBC: What is one thing you want people to know about Elements Massage?
Suzanne Rossi: That we are entirely client focused. From the quality of the massage to all aspects of the experience we listen to our clients and address their individual needs. We even have a guarantee -- the Elements Promise that is all built around our therapeutic, handcrafted and personalized approach to massage.

LFLBC: What is your business vision?
Suzanne Rossi: We still have room to grow. We want to bring on some more really great massage therapists.

LFLBC: What has been your greatest business initiative?
Suzanne Rossi: Just doing as much as I can for the staff. Training, treating people well, providing great benefits. The happier the therapists are in their work, the happier our clients will be.

LFLBC: What other local businesses do you work with?
Suzanne Rossi: We have a great relationship with the Bedell Family that owns The Exercise Coach. And, we have developed a great relationship with the new Orange Theory in our center. We include many of the center's businesses in our annual spa night as well, and consider them all great partners.

LFLBC: How do you give back to the community?
Suzanne Rossi: We do a lot of free events. We also donate to organizations that are important to our members.
